The disability sector typically serves people and families who are in greatest need. Providing resources for this is important, but we also need to invest in things that reduce the intensity and frequency of services. This could include things like building family capacity, shifting social norms/perceptions around disability and inclusion, growing and thickening the ties of connection in neighbourhoods and community, and so on.
